We are starting April 22 with a three-week course “What the Bible says about Education.”  This is a mini-course that I wish I had before ever taking Renewing the Mind because I simply had no foundation in the Word to know how to develop my own Christian Philosophy of Education.

Join us April 22 for a quick dive into what are now my favorite scriptures. Learn how to think Biblically. I will share a video next week to explain each course, but as many of you are asking for me to put you on my list, here is your “Save the Date.” This will be a great year. We are restarting a series of courses to build your Foundation in the Word of God to Restore America’s Biblical Heritage in Christian Education.

In 2025 Teaching His Story is offering: The Biblical Worldview of Education, Renewing the Mind I & II, by Foundation for American Christian Education (FACE) and the PEERS Biblical Worldview test with the eight-week Pillars course. As we go through this training together, we will be developing teams and friends that can then mentor and disciple the next generation with a Biblical worldview.  

In 2026 Teaching His Story will offer a series of Biblical Worldview courses for seven subject guides: Math, Science, History, English, Literature, Reading and Art that are published by FACE. Those who would like to teach will be equipped to write truly Biblical worldview curriculum. Many offer it, but few are equipped to deliver!

What an opportunity this is to not only purge DEI philosophies from our schools and curricula, but you’ll be equipped to actually lead the way in offering solid Biblical worldview courses to restore Christian philosophy and methodology to our education system.

A1 S8 C4 Bankruptcies

The Framers of the Constitution witnessed from other histories and governments that people were subject to horrible mistreatment if unable to pay their debts. Sometimes this was dismemberment or whole families thrown into prison without sustenance. Other times it meant a life time of slavery.

Voluntary slavery was frequently resorted to as payment for passage to America as the Pilgrims were subjected to and the first landing of Africans in 1619. In both cases those early colonists were able to work off their indenture and become law abiding, land-owning citizens of America.(1)(2)

In Exodus 21:1-11, God Almighty regulates the Hebrew system for voluntary slavery for debt so that there is a clear path to restitution and restoration. In Exodus 21:16, God forbids involuntary slavery with punishment of death.

This clause of our Constitution gives to Congress the authority to not only protect the debtor but as those laws are taken advantage of by some who have no intention of paying their debts, a series of laws were established that also protects the creditors.

James Madison explained in Federalist 43, “The power of establishing uniform laws of bankruptcy is… intimately connected with the regulation of commerce, and will prevent… many frauds where the parties of their property may lie or be removed into different states.”

It is imperative to put this area of our life under the Lordship of Christ, being diligent to pay our debts, yet compassionate to those who have truly suffered many losses and should be given extra grace, not jail time, so they can pay their debts.

So help us, Almighty God! Amen.
