Recovering the Gospel Purpose for Education

How do we recover the Biblical model  for educating and discipling our little ones and young adults that enables us to supplant anti-Christ systems and replace them with what God Almighty teaches us is good?

Maybe it starts with some of the promises in His Word that:

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.”     ~ 3 John 4 NKJV

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children.” ~ Isaiah 54:13  NKJV and

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”  ~ Proverbs 22:6 NKJV

God Almighty will be faithful to us, if we are faithful to Him!

Our desire is to restore America’s Biblical and Historical definition of Education. This is going back to the 1828 Noah Webster Dictionary which says that:

EDUCA’TIONnoun [Latin educatio.] The bringing up, as of a child, instruction; formation of manners. education comprehends all that series of instruction and discipline which is intended to enlighten the understanding, correct the temper, and form the manners and habits of youth, and fit them for usefulness in their future stations. To give children a good education in manners, arts and science, is important; to give them a religious education is indispensable; and an immense responsibility rests on parents and guardians who neglect these duties.

Is this something that the Lord has put on your heart also? Would you like to join us in April to explore God’s Word considering discipling our children?

Father, be the light unto our path and the lamp unto our feet. We want to understand the eternal path that You have given us, where the good way is. We want to walk in it and find  is rest for our souls! So help us, Almighty God, Amen!
