Rosalie Slater documented that “In the years 1837–1848 Horace Mann… paved the way for a state financed, state directed, and ultimately a state controlled education program superseding local control through the demand for “standardization” of school structures, textbooks, curriculum, and teacher training and certification. But even this might not have proved so effective in the “secularization” of education had we not deliberately removed the Bible as the basis of our Christian character and substituted for salvation and regeneration of heart a psychological atheism which found man innately “good” and society “bad”…”(1)

It is imperative for us to understand what our American Heritage is and how we lost our heritage so that we can overcome and conquer this anti-Biblical Education system in American (and other countries). We must Renew our minds with scripture and restore the Biblical “Art of Learning” that taught us how to govern ourselves and honor God … as believers, as families and as a nation. If God grants us the grace, and I believe He is, we can be the first generation in 200 years, to NOT pass an anti-Biblical system of education to the next generation. As you probably realize, the road is not without obstacles. This will require us to “Pioneer.”

PIONEE’R (1828) which is America’s historic and Biblical Dictionary

1. In the art and practice of war, one whose business is to march with or before an army, to repair the road or clear it of obstructions, work at entrenchments, or form mines for destroying an enemy’s works.

I believe this is God’s heart for this hour, that we pioneer to train parents and teachers to embrace a Biblical system of Education, to “uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow” what ever is Anti-Christ and “build up and plant” (Jeremiah 1:10) a system that honors God and His Word. To do this, 

“We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments…”  ~ 2 Corinthians 10:4 NLT

“… casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ” ~ 2 Corinthians 10:5 NKJV    

Amen!
