Newly Formatted Renewing the Mind Course-  On demand!

I am so excited to share a new learning opportunity! FACE (Foundation for American Christian Education) has asked me to facilitate this course. It is Renewing the Mind, not live, but pre-recorded and shares the extra lessons that we did not cover in the live online course that I have taught for the past few years.

Renewing the Mind for Teaching and Learning Online Course

Renewing the Mind for Teaching and Learning is a study in the Principle Approach®, a new way of thinking that views all life and learning through a Biblical lens.

A Biblical philosophy of education begets a fresh approach to both curriculum and method. Start by “renewing your mind for teaching and learning” with a group of like-minded patriots. This study is the first step in the process of restoring true Biblical education, the source of liberty and Christian self-government.

  • Teach using a time-tested method of successful education
  • Master the joy and spirit of subject material—vocabulary, principles and leading ideas
  • Establish the purpose of learning—overviews, timelines, maps, goals
  • Construct a solid Biblical and academic curriculum
  • Create an appealing learning environment providing the right tools
  • Consistently uphold the standards of Christian scholarship and character
  • Celebrate learning by incorporating music, art, drama, pageantry, performance and all the arts

The Congress shall have Power… To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization” ~ A1 S8 C4

This is an area where the states had varied policies concerning immigration and so Congress was tasked with making a policy regular for all the states. The founders considered people to be our greatest resources and welcomed law-abiding hard-working people to join us, legally.

These are the original, Constitutional requirements for citizenship applicants:

  1. Must be 18
  2. Must have proof that applicant entered the US lawfully.
  3. Must have lived in the US for 5 years before applying for citizenship.
  4. Must be of good moral character, having two witnesses to testify to this.
  5. Must pass a Constitutional test and be “attached to the principles of the Constitution.”
  6. Must understand, speak, read and write English in common usage. (1)

Here is the oath:

“I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.” (2)

Father, Anoint us to become a nation once again of Law and Order, that fears and honors You, In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1 NIV
