Let’s Make SLC a Sanctuary for Life for the Pre-born 

Charlie Kirk wrote in Right Wing Revolution, “I have some uncomfortable news for the Christians… Want to know why atheist liberals get what they want in American politics? They want it more. The stereotype promoted by the mainstream media is that evangelical Christians are particularly political and aggressive in pushing their views onto the public. It’s a lie. For the most part we’re disengaged.” 

Let me ask you a few questions:

• Do you think it’s wrong to give a mommy two pills and send her home to deliver her baby alone in the toilet? 
• Do you think it’s wrong to lie to her that she’s going to bleed a bit more than her period when she’s convinced that she’s hemorrhaging and sometimes dies? 
• Do you think it’s wrong to tell her it’s “just a blob of tissue” when she sees her baby- dead in the toilet? 
• Do you think it’s wrong to tell us to do nothing because it’s a woman’s “right to choose,” when sometimes it’s her boyfriend that’s slipping these pills into her food to make her abort her baby?
• Do you think it’s wrong when we’re told “mind your own business” that “it’s not your problem,” when we find out that those chemicals and the “medical waste” are now in our water? 
• Do you think it’s “medical waste” or  is it a baby, made in the image of God and whose remains are now in our drinking water!

We should have known abortion would defile the land. Lamentations 4:13 talks about, “the city… was … defiled by shedding innocent blood…”

2 Kings 24:4 explains that God would not forgive Manasseh “because of the innocent blood that he had shed; for he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the Lord would not pardon.”

Psalm 106:38 warns, “They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters. By sacrificing them to the idols of Canaan, they polluted the land with murder.”

Charlie continued in Right Wing Revolution, “Do you want to win? Well, you have to start to love what is good more than the adversary loves what is evil. You have to want it more. And that means going out and doing the work to win.”

We have several St. Lucie County captains to call our churches for the petition and later to help the churches receive the voter guides for the general election November 3rd.

Make sure you’re registered and help you friends register to VOTE before Monday, October 5th.

Then could you help in one of these ways?

2. I’ll send you information to pray with epic leaders across our nation that are praying Monday-Friday at noon so you can join on-line. Let’s pray every day for God to take this curse off the land!
3. Please let me know if you would call our five county commissioners to ask them to please support making St. Lucie County a Sanctuary for Life? We need twelve people to do this. I’ll send you a guideline script to help you.
4. Would you sign the petition, turn it in and  take extras to share with friends?
5. We need a few drivers to pick up petitions from our churches and our petitioners. Then we can take them to our county commissioners to let them know that this is truly something that the people of Saint Lucie County are asking them to do. If you can help, let me know in this contact form:

A7 Ratification Process

The Ratification of the Conventions of nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same. ~A7

As the Articles of Confederation had established in Articles IX and XI, nine or  three-fourths of the states were required to make major decisions such as declare war, set up a budget, determine the strength of their army or navy, etc. But when in Article XIII they required the unanimous approval of the states to make changes in the Articles, they created a problem for themselves. “Rogue” Island as they began to call her, was not showing up for any of the meetings that were called, thereby creating what they called “tyranny of one state” which was then blocking them from creating a government adequate to the exigencies of their hoped-for nation. This is why they then required three-fourths to ratify and only “between the States so ratifying the Same.” 

Mason “Was for preserving ideas familiar to the people. Nine states had  been required in all great cases under the Confederation and that number was on that account preferable.” (1)

Butler agreed. He “ was in favor of ‘nine.’ He revolted at the idea that one or two states should restrain the rest from consulting their safety.” (2)

King “Moved to add…  the words ‘between the said states’ so as to confine the operation of the government to the states ratifying it.” (3)

President Monroe explained, “The establishment of our institutions forms the most important epoch that history hath recorded… To preserve and hand them down in their utmost purity to the remotest  ages will require the existence and practices of virtues and talents equal to those which were displayed in acquiring them. It is ardently hoped and confidently believed that these will not be wanting.”(4)
