What are YOUR 2025 New Year’s Revolutions?

It is time to disciple and REVOLUTIONIZE our nation, that is,  “To effect a change in the form of a political constitution; as, to revolutionize a government… To effect an entire change of principles in…”  (1828 Noah Webster Dictionary)

We must return to the Biblical Foundation of our God-given rights as outlined by Samuel Adams in the Natural Rights of the Colonists: “First of all, a Right to Life…” In 2025, we hear a clear call to the Body of Christ:

“Open your mouth for the speechless in the cause of all who are appointed to die.” (Proverbs 31:8 NKJV) “Speak up, judge righteously, and defend the cause of the oppressed and needy.” (Proverbs 31:9 HCSB) Each child in the womb is “fearfully and wonderfully made.” (Psalm 139:14) “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10 ESV)

We have prayed this prayer for decades now:  “… if My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14) and yet we continue to slaughter our own people, our own babies… 

We have allowed anti-Christ philosophies to invade our own pro-life strategies by allowing “exceptions” for rapists, sex-traffickers and molesters. But the Word of God clearly instructs us: “Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin.” (Deuteronomy 24:16 ESV) God is speaking to us now: 

No more exceptions for rapists, sex-traffickers or molesters. Let’s insist on saving every single precious child made in His image, for His glory. 

O God!!! we pray, in Jesus’ Name, amen.

A1 S8 C1 “Common Defence”

The Congress shall… provide for the common Defence ~ A1 S8 C1

This clause was birthed after decades of defending themselves as separate colonies. Many of the Framers were seasoned warriors and though the American Revolution was over, the reality of foreign powers still seeking to overpower and overthrow them was real. One of the main driving forces to the Constitutional Convention was this need for “common defense.”

Robert Livingston summed up their sentiments this way, “Sir, our reasoning on this ground is conclusive. If it be necessary to trust our defense to the Union, it is necessary that we should trust it with the sword to defend us, and the purse to give the sword effect.” (1) Thus Congress was given the power to tax for their common defence.

Madison emphasized, “Weakness will invite insults. The best way to avoid danger is to be in a capacity to withstand it.”(2)

Benjamin Franklin foresaw clearly, “The very fame of our strength and readiness would be a means of discouraging our enemies; for ’tis a wise and true saying, that ‘One sword often keeps another in the scabbard.’ The way to secure peace is to be prepared for war.”(3)

George Washington agreed, “To be prepared  for war is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace.” (4)

Father God, we thank You for our heritage. God Almighty will You restore virtue to our nation? Will You make us the good men of Proverbs 13:22 who leave an inheritance to our children and to our children’s children? Forgive us for letting our nation be invaded and for being in this unconscionable debt. God help us! In Jesus’ Gracious Name we pray, amen!
