I hope that your Thanksgiving Day was wonderful. Isn’t God gloriously Faithful! Last week I shared a pro-life bill for Florida that has been written by Abolish Abortion. I gave my reasons to support it HERE.

There is also a movement that has started which would establish each county as a Sanctuary for Life, that is pre-born, human life. Read more here: https://www.slcsanctuaryforlife.org/

If you are not in this county, pray about starting this initiative! You do first need to let the Lord minister and ground you first, then build a team so that you can create a pro-life network. We have praying for decades. The Lord has opened 3 crisis pregnancy centers that we either helped start &/or support. We all are rooted in Biblically obedient churches that are training us how to raise our children and thrive as families. We are enjoying Biblically obedient lives (yet understand that we are all flawed and are trusting God in all this!) I’ll be sharing more on this and how to nurture a relationship with your representatives to serve them in this are. This is something that I used to be very active in. The Lord is leading me more into this area of our Christian duties. So please work with me. Give me feedback and let’s honor God and love our neighbors in this area. More next week!

A2S1C5-6 Qualifications of President

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States ~ A2 S1 C5

[In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected.]*  A2 S1 C6

The framers wanted each and every one of our presidents to be truly American with American ideals of Life, Liberty and Property.

A candidate for president must be at least 35 years of age. John Jay explained, “By excluding men under 35… it confines the electors to men of whom the people have had time to form a judgment, and with respect to whom they will not be liable to be deceived by those brilliant appearances of genius and patriotism which, like transient meteors, sometimes mislead as well as dazzle.”(1)

A candidate must also have been a resident of the United States for the past 14 years. The framers wanted not only American citizens, but also Americans that lived in America and were under American influences.

Clause 6 provides that the Vice President will serve as the president, if he is removed, dies, resigns or is unable to serve. The next in line is the Speaker of the House.
