Teaching His Story

Happy Constitution Day!

How many Articles does the Constitution have?

Who are the “governing authorities” in America?

What is the “Supreme Law of the land” in America?

If you are not able to answer these questions, how can you steward your Liberty for the next generation?

The first three articles from the Constitution come straight from Isaiah 33:22 that says, “For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our Lawgiver, the Lord is our King; He will save us.

The founders understood that God Almighty IS government, that He is our judge, our lawgiver and our King. Having been raised from the Second Great Awakening and its resultant Biblical Reasoning that men are sinners, they knew that power must be limited when delegating authority! And when delegating these enumerated powers, they divided them into the three branches of government and then put checks and balances on each branch.

Remember when our president said in his first inaugural address that “… we are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people.”

Are you ready to receive this power and steward it faithfully to give your children and your grandchildren an inheritance that will bless and prosper them and their children? Let’s prepare ourselves to be able to shoulder this responsibility.

Father will you redeem and restore what the enemy has stolen from us? We love You. We are so grateful for the Liberty that You have blessed us with. Help us to learn what we should have learned in school but what was kept from us. Anoint us to be the generation that turns this nation around, for Your glory, to honor You! In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1 NIV
