From Pilgrims to Pioneers
Realizing how our Forefathers were forced into communism and yet escaped it, giving God the glory (See last week’s post), let’s covenant together to honor God and dedicate ourselves to Him afresh. How can each of us rise above the captivity we are in as a nation? We’ll talk about this more in our last class of PEERS & Pillars. (I am being asked already to offer it again. If you are interested, let me know.) But until then, this is the plan that I have made for 2026 to equip and encourage my friends to disciple your children, open a school, or reform one of your local schools. Let’s pioneer together, seeking God and Trusting Him to go before us and give us great success!
From the 1828 Noah Webster’s Dictionary, Pioneer is defined:
PIONEE’R, noun
1. In the art and practice of war, one whose business is to march with or before an army, to repair the road or clear it of obstructions, work at intrenchments, or form mines for destroying an enemy’s works.
2. One that goes before to remove obstructions or prepare the way for another.
Wow! Here we are. And to all my dear friends, who are old like me, let’s not Retire, let’s REFIRE!!! Scripture says that our Jesus is our Pioneer!
-
In bringing many sons and daughters to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through what he suffered.
-
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
So help us O God! Doesn’t this remind you of the Saints of Scripture? There is so much to do, that we are simply pioneers, trusting God like Moses, Joshua, David, even Jesus. We have the difficult, impossible task “to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.” I believe that this is the year, especially to build and plant. I love how when God told David that he was not the one to build a glorious temple for His Glory, but that his son was, that he did not lapse into bitterness and envy the way that Saul had done, but instead began to amass what he knew his son would need to complete the task.

This is exactly what the Pilgrims did in dedicating their work to God Almighty and proclaiming, “A great hope and inward zeal they had for the propagating and advancing the gospel of the kingdom of Christ in those remote parts of the world; yea, though they should be but even as stepping-stones unto others for the performing of so great a work.”
As you look to the New Year, I pray that God graces you with quietness in your spirit to hear what He has for you. You are uniquely gifted and Providentially prepared for this very hour. Rise up and say “Yes!” to Him and His call on your life. If you do not know where to serve, please consider working with us to equip parents, patriots and young adults to start to disciple the next generation, start schools/co-ops/hybrids or to reform Education and Government in some way. I hope you consider starting a business to do so. Next week I’ll share what I’d like to do to equip my friends to start businesses to disciple the next generation.
Here are some options for you to consider. Please join us!

I re-organized the schedule for the seven Subject Curriculum Guides to suit the co-op that I serve. When you sign up, you will be getting videos from the previous courses. The meetings that we have scheduled on Tuesdays will be for discussion, coaching and Q&A. I can hardly wait to take these most important Biblical Worldview Subject Guide courses again! This training is perfect for all Christians whether you home educate K-12, or if you are a teacher in a private school (ideal) or a government school (Let’s reform them!)
Reforming Christian Education by Dr. Brenda MacMenamin
Are you excited about what God Almighty is doing?! Revival is beginning! Let’s make sure Reformation follows. Teaching His Story is offering a Biblical Worldview series of courses that will equip you how to Learn and Teach Biblically. Here is a series of courses to build your Foundation in the Word of God to Restore America’s Biblical Heritage to Christian Education. Teaching His Story offers a series of Biblical Worldview courses for seven subjects guides: Math, Science, History & Geography, English, Literature, Reading and Art. These are published by FACE (Foundation for American Christian Education).
Teachers will be equipped to write truly Biblical worldview curriculum. Many offer it, but few are equipped to deliver! See the 2026 schedule below. What an opportunity this is to not only purge anti-Christ philosophies from our schools and curricula, but students will be equipped to lead the way in offering solid Biblical worldview courses to restore Christian philosophy and methodology to our education system and to the next generation.

A2S1C8 Presidential Oath
Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:- “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” ~A2S1C8
General George Washington, after he took this oath, placed his hand on the Bible and prayed, “So help me God!” He then shared in his First Inaugural Address:
“… a heartfelt prayer, explaining that… it would be peculiarly improper to omit in this first official act my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being Who rules over the universe, Who presides in the councils of nations, and Whose providential aids can supply every human defect – that His benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the people of the United States a government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes…
“No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of Providential Agency… we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained…
“Having thus imparted to you my sentiments as they have been awakened by the occasion which brings us together, I shall take my present leave – but not without resorting once more to the benign Parent of the Human Race in humble supplication that… His Divine blessing may be equally conspicuous in the enlarged views, the temperate consultations, and the wise measures on which the success of this government must depend.”(1)
