Seeking the Welfare of our City

Jeremiah 29:7 NLT  promises and admonishes us to “…work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.” ~ Jeremiah 29:7 NLT

As Genesis 1:27 enlightens us, “So God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them” we realize that defending Life at all times, for all people is not optional. This is why our fore-fathers were willing to risk their “lives, fortunes and sacred honor” to proclaim:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life…” Jesus made it clear who our enemy is when He taught us in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” NKJV

It does not matter then, how the little ones are conceived. God even clearly instructs us in Deuteronomy 24:16 that “Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall children be put to death for their fathers; a person shall be put to death for his own sin.” Even children conceived through their father raping their mommy should NEVER be killed through abortion. But the “father” whether and especially if he is a trafficker or rapist should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This is the Church’s responsibility to ensure that the “gates of Hell do not prevail…”

The Lord showers us with grace as He reveals to us in Psalms 139:13-16, “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them” and in Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

It is not our responsibility ever to consider ending a life that He has plans for, but rather He commands us in Proverbs 31:8-9, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.

Does your heart beat to answer this call from the Lord? I am looking at this team of Biblical Warriors. I think that it is worth our time to review their philosophy and join them.

The Original Method of Choosing the President  ~ A2 S1 C3

[The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves. And they shall make a List of all the Persons voted for, and of the Number of Votes for each; which List they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the Seat of the Government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted. The Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be the President, if such Number be a Majority of the whole Number of Electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such Majority, and have an equal Number of Votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately chuse by Ballot one of them for President; and if no Person have a Majority, then from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner chuse the President. But in chusing the President, the Votes shall be taken by States, the Representation from each State having one Vote; A quorum for this Purpose shall consist of a Member or Members from two thirds of the States, and a Majority of all the States shall be necessary to a Choice. In every Case, after the Choice of the President, the Person having the greatest Number of Votes of the Electors shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal Votes, the Senate shall chuse from them by Ballot the Vice President.]

This was the original method of choosing our president and vice president. Could you imagine if P. Trump won and his vice president was Clinton or Harris?
